Junya Kono Onmoraki Composite Photo Art

Composite art piece by Japanese artist Junya Kono. This piece tells the story of ONMORAKI and translation of the story is included below. Framed work measures 11"x14".

Once upon a time, a man was dozing off at a temple in Kyoto one summer night when he was awakened by a voice calling to him. There was a huge black bird. Its eyes shone like lights, its wings were flapping and its cry sounded like a human voice. The elder told him that it was probably a dead body brought into the temple that had turned into a bird.
